At Skilled Finances our mission is to change the narrative around money and relationships.
It’s no secret that money is one of the leading causes of disagreements, disappointments and even divorce amongst couples. But, it’s also something which can be used to enhance your union together!
We aim to empower you to work together as a team with your partner, especially with money, through our content and the products and services we offer.
Our Story
We’re Thando & Lindie Jacobs.
We’ve been together since our early twenties.
Early in our relationship, we were living our best life – funded by debt.
We didn’t really talk about money in a meaningful way and we argued when we ran out of it.
Our money conversations sometimes ended in deafening silence after a disagreement, or worse, tears.
We were not aligned financially.
A few years later, we paid off our consumer debts, bought our first home and started our journey towards financial independence.
We’ve also built a financial system that has worked well in our relationship, which is exactly what we teach you.
We want to give you the tools we used to start working together with our money.
